  • 30-day corrective notice; payment reductions if not corrected

Waiver Eligibility

Fines may be waived if the facility meets any one of:

  • No quality of care/immediate jeopardy deficiencies in last 3 survey cycles

  • Nursing Case-Mix Index in lowest 25% of Medicaid-participating facilities

  • Achieved compliance for at least 75% of operating days in the quarter
